Medrilzam, The Jakarta Post – Informal waste collectors bridge the gap between public waste management systems and the recycling industries in Indonesia, taking on the crucial role of collecting, sorting, and trading the waste material for recycling. This is not only reducing environmental pollution but also generating more income opportunities for the community, especially the poor.
